I believe in one God, infinite in holiness, power, and glory, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is self-existent, sovereign over all creation, and perfect in justice, mercy, and love. He is worthy of all worship, obedience, and devotion.
Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 6:3; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1–3; Revelation 4:8–11
I believe the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired, inerrant, and infallible in all that it affirms.
100% Inspired
The Scriptures are God-breathed, written by human authors under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, so that every word is exactly as God intended.
2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21
100% Inerrant
Because God is truth and cannot lie, His Word, as originally given, is without error or contradiction in everything it teaches—whether doctrine, history, or the created order.
Psalm 12:6; Proverbs 30:5; John 17:17
100% Infallible
The Scriptures are utterly trustworthy and unfailing, accomplishing all that God intends. They will never lead us astray in matters of faith, doctrine, or life.
Isaiah 55:11; Matthew 5:18; 1 Peter 1:24–25
I believe that humanity was created in the image of God to know Him and glorify Him. Through Adam’s disobedience, sin entered the world, and all people are now born with a sinful nature, separated from God, under His just wrath, and utterly unable to redeem themselves apart from divine grace.
Genesis 1:26–27; Psalm 51:5; Romans 3:10–12, 23; Romans 5:12–19; Ephesians 2:1–3
I believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, fulfilled the Law, performed miracles, and revealed the Father. On the cross He bore the penalty for our sins as our substitutionary sacrifice. He was bodily raised from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, and now reigns at the right hand of the Father. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. All who repent and believe in Him are justified, adopted into God’s family, and given eternal life.
John 1:14; Philippians 2:5–11; Luke 1:35; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Romans 3:24–26; Ephesians 2:8–9; Galatians 2:16; Acts 4:12
I believe the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity who regenerates, indwells, and sanctifies all who believe in Christ. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He seals believers until the day of redemption, empowers them for godly living, and distributes spiritual gifts for the building up of the body of Christ.
John 14:16–17, 26; John 16:8–11; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:9–11; 1 Corinthians 12:4–11; Ephesians 1:13–14; Galatians 5:16–25
I believe the Church is both universal and local. The universal Church is the body of Christ, composed of all believers from every nation and generation. The local church is the visible expression of that body, a community of believers who gather for worship, the preaching of the Word, the celebration of the sacraments/ordinances (Baptism and the Lord’s Supper), discipleship, fellowship, prayer, and mission. Christ is the Head of the Church, which is called to proclaim the gospel to the ends of the earth until He returns.
Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:42–47; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Ephesians 1:22–23; Ephesians4:11–16; Matthew 28:19–20
I believe in the personal, visible, and glorious return of Jesus Christ. He will raise the dead, judge the nations, and consummate His kingdom. The redeemed will enjoy eternal life in the presence of God in the new heaven and new earth, while the unrepentant will face eternal separation from Him. In this hope we watch, wait, and work, knowing that Christ is making all things new.
